One of our favorite memories involving Echo the Elephant That Never Gave Up
Charles brought several of our coloring books to a church event… He sat right up front with the children and read Echo the Elephant aloud. The room became surprisingly quiet as the children listened attentively. Afterward, Charles played part of the song from the book, and the children responded with applause.
Two weeks later at a craft show, one of the little girls recognized Echo, hugged the book tightly, and showed it to her mother. A few weeks after that, we were able to gift her the book. The joy on her face said everything.
Moments like that are why we continue doing craft shows all summer and fall.
