About Authors Lidia and Charles  LoPinto

Lidia LoPinto is an independent author, investigator, publisher, environmental advocate, and retired chemical engineer whose work blends storytelling, investigative curiosity, satire, science, emotional realism, and a lifelong concern for both people and nature. A veteran technical writer with decades of experience in engineering, software development, and research communication, Lidia has spent much of her life studying the relationship between technology, industry, human behavior, and the natural world.

Long before artificial intelligence became mainstream, before healthcare corruption became headline news, and before environmental debates turned into political battlegrounds, Lidia was already exploring the hidden consequences of systems driven more by profit than by human well-being.

Her work is united by one consistent moral compass:

  • Protect people.
  • Protect animals.
  • Protect nature.
  • Question systems that create harm.

That philosophy appears throughout her diverse body of work.

In the popular Eco Cops adventure series, readers follow recurring investigators Sean and Julie as they uncover environmental crimes hidden beneath swamps, coastlines, abandoned industrial sites, and toxic waterways. These fast-paced mysteries combine suspense, warmth, humor, environmental awareness, and emotional connection while encouraging readers to think critically about the world around them.

In the Fraud Squad investigative thriller series, Norman Riley and Red Feather confront healthcare scams, experimental clinics, AI-assisted manipulation, and modern medical corruption inspired by real-world fraud and emerging technologies. These stories explore the dangerous business of selling false hope while remaining deeply human and character-driven.

Through American Truth Daily investigative reports and podcasts, Lidia examines controversial topics involving environmental policy, propaganda, offshore wind development, food systems, weather modification debates, artificial intelligence, media narratives, and modern cultural anxieties. Her approach is not ideological, but investigative — grounded in skepticism, curiosity, research, satire, and concern for unintended consequences.

At the same time, her gentler side appears in children’s books, emotional wellness projects, and nature stories focused on resilience, kindness, environmental stewardship, and emotional healing.

Humor also plays an important role in her work. Her recurring political cartoons and satirical “AI Karen” character poke fun at performative outrage culture, online gatekeeping, artificial intelligence hysteria, censorship, and the absurdities of modern digital life. For Lidia, laughter is often another way of telling the truth.

Lidia is married to Charles LoPinto, her husband of now 50 years, coauthor, collaborator, and one of the creative forces behind Clover Leaf Publications. Charles brings decades of experience in computer science, chemical engineering, education, project management, and marketing, having worked as a professor, software professional, engineering manager, and technical leader throughout his career.

Now retired alongside Lidia, Charles has embraced storytelling full time and has taken over primary authorship of the Eco Cops series while also developing the whimsical Coco Marshmallow Wigglebutt stories and helping expand the Clover Leaf universe. At craft shows, Charles has become the publishing house’s legendary salesman, often selling large stacks of children’s books in just a few hours through warmth, humor, and genuine enthusiasm for the stories.

Together, Lidia and Charles built Clover Leaf Publications not as a corporate publishing machine, but as a deeply personal creative ecosystem centered around storytelling, curiosity, environmental awareness, satire, emotional connection, and shared human experience.

Their publishing philosophy is simple:

The work is not only about making money.
It is about creating meaningful experiences.

Whether writing environmental mysteries, healthcare thrillers, investigative reports, children’s adventures, political satire, podcasts, or emotional wellness content, the LoPintos remain guided by the same lifelong mission they have carried since their youth:

To protect what is real, human, compassionate, and alive in a rapidly changing world.
